In other horror games, a lot of the fear and anxiety comes from the anticipation of a monster suddenly appearing to cut you into pieces... In PT, however, the fear of death isn’t present. Instead, you simply fear what will come next and that is an incredibly powerful sensation because you never know what that could be.
As a person who turns into a lobster in five minutes out in the sun, gets intense sun rash even in gloom and gray of Finland, breaks out in sweat after spicy food, and is introverted and quiet, I knew a trip to Indonesia would be testing my limits. But damned if I’d let that ruin my vacation!
The band’s arrival on stage was relatively nonchalant, with many of the audience mistaking Trey Spruance and his hooded cohort for roadies in wizard robes. Greetings and introductions were short and to the point (there were none). And then the band started playing, and the fans saw that the music was good.
